the souls yearning for authenticity
»Man is born free, and everywhere he is in chains.« Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
These chains manifest in societal expectations and norms, a collective weight that often stifles the spirit of rebellion. Within these crude mechanisms, we discern tools of the masses, designed to suppress the creativity and individuality of the few who dare to break free from the mold, sometimes unfortunately to the point of death. The cold rudeness of the mechanisms of society churns out weak-willed creatures.
The distorted bodies mirror the perplexing journey of self-discovery, where societal constructs and prejudices cast shadows upon the path to genuine identity. In contemplating the violence inflicted upon those who dare to challenge the established order, we are reminded of the words of Camus, »The only way to deal with the unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.« The struggle for self-realization is indeed fraught with pain, but it is also a testament to the indomitable spirit of humanity, much like the phoenix rising from its own ashes.
